“I came to Maui in very bad shape. I had been in car accidents in 2004 & 2006. Both times I injured my lumbar disc L5-S1, severely. After the 2006 accident/injury, they told me there was nothing they could do. That I was permanently disabled. I had many "treatments". Including, but not limited to, cortisone shots, steroid injections, physical therapy, & tons of medications. I had become so depressed & even sick, due to all of it. I would walk on a cane most of the time & I was always in pain. I didn't want to take the medication anymore & I was searching for a solution.
